How To ClearSpace

Block off 20 minutes of your time. Turn off your phones, pagers, blackberries, computers. Take this time to do something that makes you happy – something mindful, physical or soulful.

It should be a period of time where no-one needs you for anything. You are checking out from the rest of the world in order to check in with yourself each day.

ClearSpace is an individual thing and it is up to you to decide what you want to do during that time. ClearSpace is anything that helps you relax and reflect on your life and the world around you. The what of the activity is less important than what that activity means to you.

You may choose to be surrounded by other people while you experience a solo venture (like a yoga class) or you may prefer to take a long, luxurious bubble bath. Each day will be different and each day you can ClearSpace in whichever way you choose.

A few simple ideas for ClearSpacing:

  • Go for a walk
  • Listen to music
  • Take a long bath
  • Meditate
  • Do a 20-minute Yoga or Pilates workout
  • Journal
  • Go to a museum

We all have certain activities or interests that make us feel content but we often need a little encouragement to make them part of our daily routine.

By joining the ClearSpace Community, you’ll have access to all the resources and support to help you live your balance. What a great way to commit to yourself.
